She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Case Western Reserve University, and she has a well-rounded education from Columbia University.

Her dual board certifications as a psychiatric mental health and family health nurse practitioner, showcase her extensive knowledge and ability to provide well-rounded care.

Dr. Jena Simon has over fifteen years of experience in the nursing field, marked by significant contributions, particularly during her time as an Assistant Professor at The Mount Sinai Hospital's Division of Hematology/Oncology. Her efforts there notably advanced the sickle cell program, leading to significant enhancements in the quality of patient care. Additionally, Dr. Simon's role at Columbia University Irving Medical Center's Blood and Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT)/Cell Therapy Program saw her provide heartfelt and attentive care to adult patients with a variety of serious conditions, including cancer, autoimmune diseases, and blood disorders. Throughout her varied career, she has maintained a focus on mental health, now channeling her extensive knowledge and skills into psychiatric mental health care.

Dr. Simon's academic pursuits, including an Advanced Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health and an active fellowship in Integrative Psychiatry, reflect her commitment to staying ahead in psychiatric care. Her work has earned her the Director’s Award for an Outstanding Doctor of Nursing Practice Graduate from Case Western Reserve University and recognition from esteemed organizations like the American Society of Hematology.
