College Internship Position

Potomac Psychiatry, located in Rockville, MD is currently seeking a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn and gain experience in a fast paced environment. The position will have a strong focus in marketing and sales and will require background knowledge in psychology. The position will begin in the fall, for the 2011-2012 school year.

Interns will be given the opportunity to learn from some of the most renowned physicians and psychotherapists in the area. Interns will assist in expanding the practice, contributing significant ideas and maintaining client satisfaction. The internship will allow individuals to work around their semester schedule and potentially earn college credits. Interns will learn how a successful business is run and what it takes to maintain such a high standard of care. A weekly evaluation will be conducted, which will include strengths, weaknesses, and areas of improvement. A final evaluation at the end of the internship will be made to exhibit the intern’s progress and growth. If it is shown that significant development has been made, a letter of recommendation from the President of Potomac Psychiatry, Dr. Bruce Kehr will be composed for the intern.

Exceptional Personal Trainer

Potomac Psychiatry, located in Rockville, MD is currently seeking an experienced, caring, and compassionate personal trainer. Potomac Psychiatry is creating a tailored obesity reduction/prevention program with a team approach to individual and family weight loss/healthy lifestyle maintenance. We are looking for an exceptional personal trainer who has a national certification (ex. ACSM, ACE…) and has specialty experience training overweight and obese clients of all ages. Being able to do comprehensive assessments and create safe, progressive workout plans for increasing strength, flexibility and cardiovascular capacity for long-term results is a must. Having the ability to go to client’s homes, or having access/space to a private studio gym are pluses.

Exceptional Dietician

Potomac Psychiatry is creating a tailored obesity reduction/prevention program with a team approach to individual and family weight loss/healthy lifestyle maintenance. We are looking for an exceptional dietician who has a national certification and has specialty experience creating meal planning for overweight and obese clients of all ages. Being able to do comprehensive nutrition assessments and create realistic menus and safe guidelines for losing weight/increasing health for long term results is a must. Having the ability to go to client’s homes is a plus.
