College Internship

Potomac Psychiatry, located in Rockville, MD is currently seeking a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn and gain experience in a fast paced environment. The position will have a strong focus in marketing and sales and will require background knowledge in psychology. The position will be available for the summer of 2013 and also the 2013-2014 school year.

Interns will be given the opportunity to learn from some of the most renowned physicians and psychotherapists in the area. Interns will assist in expanding the practice, contributing significant ideas and maintaining client satisfaction. The internship will allow individuals to work around their semester schedule and potentially earn college credits. Interns will learn how a successful business is run and what it takes to maintain such a high standard of care. A weekly evaluation will be conducted, which will include strengths, weaknesses, and areas of improvement. A final evaluation at the end of the internship will be made to exhibit the intern’s progress and growth. If it is shown that significant development has been made, a letter of recommendation from the President of Potomac Psychiatry, Dr. Bruce Kehr will be composed for the intern.
